It is with great pride and satisfaction that Xingu Fruit participated in Gulfood, the largest food and beverage fair in the Middle East. Gulfood has been held since 1989 and is considered one of the main means of entry for products Brazilians in the United Arab Emirates and adjacent markets such as North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Israel, Qatar, Kuwait and countries in the region.

The fair presents the main market trends in the food and beverage sector, in addition to mobilizing opinion makers and specialized media in the Arab market. Participation in the space is open to all types of companies from food and beverages, there is a booming market for brands that offer natural and organic products, following the trend of the search for sustainable products by the world consumer, but it is noted that there is also a lot of space for products of which Brazil is already a major international supplier, such as grains or meats.

In 2020, more than one hundred companies from Brazil participated as exhibitors at the Gulfood, some in the stand promoted by the Arab Brazilian Chamber and others in spaces organized by sector associations and by the Brazilian Promotion Agency of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil), which also promotes a Brazilian pavilion at the 2021 edition of the fair, in February.
